Financial support from the Department Development Fund (DDF) may be given to a Ph.D. student registered at the Department of Hydrology for attending reputed International Conferences/workshops provided the funds are available.
Candidates who have published at least one peer-reviewed journal paper (Q1/Q2) from his/her PhD work will be eligible for the support.
A maximum financial support up to Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) may be availed once in the entire Ph.D. tenure to supplement shortfall in available grant towards conference/workshop registration, travel, and accommodation expenses.
The financial support will be reimbursed as per the Institute rules and on actual bill basis depending on the availability of the funds.
The students requesting support from the Department shall submit an official request with all the relevant details and documents to Hydrology office for consideration. DAC shall thoroughly review the application and make the final decision.
PMRF candidates are not eligible to avail the support from the DDF.
